The Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest is the largest national forest in Montana and the headwaters of Montana’s most famous rivers — the Madison, Beaverhead, Big Hole and more. The forest is home to many different uses — recreation, logging, and conservation alike. Our goal is to make sure the forest is managed wisely to suit all these needs. We want to make sure this corner of Montana stays special so Montanans today and tomorrow are free to use and enjoy it.

  • Protect our clean water
  • Manage Montana’s forests for jobs and reduced fire risk
  • Protect Montana’s hunting, fishing and outdoor traditions
